- Who are you (just a short description will do here)
- I am a Jazz Guitarist/Composer/Educator/Author.. I started playing when I was seven years old. That was 1950 and I haven't stopped. I started teaching in 1961 and seriously composing in 1976. I have authored three books on harmony and jazz improv and am about to publish my 4th book geared especially for guitarists. My early influences started with every major guitarist from the early 40's to the late 50's. When I was 17, I stopped listening to guitarists and focused my attention on other instrumentalist. Since then, I can say my main were influences: John Coltrane, Monk, Tristano, Eric Dolphy, Cecil Taylor, Schoenberb, Cage, Webern & Stravinsky. In 2001 my wife and I formed CDM Records. For last seven years I have mostly worked with my trio. Ken Filiano-bass and Jackson Krall -drums

I bought your blue note cd back in the late 70's ."I've been here before"? (or something like that).
